Sharpen your EDGE by attending our job skills classes starting April 6th through June 1st. We offer up to date reference materials, information on how to create a resume and cover letters, mock interviews with actual employers, how to interview with confidence and set goals for your life.
Free Classes are on Tuesday nights with childcare provided from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

In 2009, 2,014 food boxes were provided to families in need, which fed over 8,900 people!

For six years now Operation Backpack has helped children from high need families receive new backpacks full of school supplies. This event is hosted by many churches, service organizations, businesses and corporations in our McMinnville community.

Operation Backpack has allowed us the opportunity to directly impact people’s lives, with resources and compassion in a fun-filled atmosphere. Our goal this year is to provide backpacks and school supplies for 750 children. This means we will be serving somewhere around 2000 + people that day as siblings and parents accompany their children. Children pick out their own backpack receive supplies appropriate to their grade, play games and have a free hotdog lunch with their family. This year Operation Backpack will take place Saturday, August 21st, 2010 at Grandhaven Elementary School, 3200 NW McDonald Lane, McMinnville, Oregon 97128.

Each year we have been greatly blessed by so many that have joined to help make the day a wonderful success. We welcome monetary donations, donations of needed school supplies, as well as other supplies needed to serve the families that day. Some businesses have even become a drop-off spot; a safe place where others can bring the supplies they have bought.
